The Marine Barometer is a specialized barometer sensor interface that caters to the specific needs of mariners who rely on precise atmospheric pressure measurements for weather routing and the analysis of weather maps. This device allows users to manually save and store pressure readings, along with associated location and time data. It also records any sensor offset that has been applied, providing a comprehensive record of pressure data. Furthermore, users have the convenience of transferring these recorded pressures to their vessel's printed logbook at their leisure.

While the Marine Barometer accesses the GPS sensor solely for latitude and longitude information, it is important to note that the elevation of the sensor (i.e., your iOS device with a built-in barometer) must be manually inputted. The elevation data from GPS is not precise enough for the intended application.
